We know that there are a lot of questions around on how the latest Federal Government & State's Government's announcements are affecting us due to (COVID-19).

Please note: We can not give a direct time line of changes for anything as things can change on a daily basis so we hope every one understands this.

We want to assure all our Members, Guest and Visitors that health and safety is one of our top priority's and hope all stay safe during these tough times.

11 Oct 2021 Update.

Museum Trading Hours

Our Museum is open Fridays from 10am to 3pm

Saturdays & Sundays are by appointment ONLY.

Bookings/Appointments can be made by calling our main line at (02) 6067 2106 and select option 1 for Museum Info, then Option 1 for bookings.

In line with NSW Government Public Health Orders, the Australian Road Transport Heritage Centre (ARTHC) Staff & Visitors has to follow several COVID-19 protocols in place to help keep our staff and visitors safe.

 

Please be advised of the following Terms of Entry for attending the ARTHC Museum are:

  • All Staff & Visitors must sign in via the NSW QR Code.
  • All Staff & Visitors aged 16+ must be fully vaccinated to enter, unless they have a medical exemption.
    Upon arrival, please have your proof of COVID-19 vaccination or medical exemption to show a staff member.
  • Visitors under the age of 16 do not need to be vaccinated provided they are accompanied at all times by a fully vaccinated adult.
  • Visitors aged 12+ must wear a fitted face mask. Masks are recommended for younger visitors where practicable. Valid exemptions apply.

 

Visitors are asked to delay attending our museum if they:

  • Have visited an identified venue on the NSW Health list.
  • Are feeling unwell or have any cold or flu-like symptoms.
  • Are awaiting COVID-19 test results.
  • Have recently returned from overseas; or have been in contact with someone from a COVID-19 hotspot.

We will continue to monitor the advice of NSW Health accordingly and update this page as appropriate.

15 Sep 2021 Update.

NSW Government has released parts of NSW from lockdown (stay-at-home orders).

As of Friday 17th Sep 21 our museum will reopen but with changes and requirements.

Our Museum is open Fridays from 10am to 3pm

Saturdays & Sundays are by appointment ONLY.

Please also note: (As stated by NSW Gov) Any person who is from or visited in the last 14 days any of the zones that are still in lockdown (stay-at-home-orders) is not permitted to enter our museum.

14 Aug 2021 Update

 NSW Government has now placed all of NSW into Lock-down,

This means for us here at ARTHC till further notice is;

  1. We have had to Cancel all meetings.
  2. The Museum has had to temporarily close.

We will update things here when we can but for now please stay safe and at home


26 Jul 2021 Update.

For the safety of our Members and guest we have postponed/or cancelled our meetings till further notice,

This also includes postponing our AGM that was listed to be on the 1st Aug 2021.


27 Jun 2021 Update.

NSW Government has placed Greater Sydney, the Blue Mountains, Central Coast and Wollongong, into a minimum of 2 week lock-down.

If anyone that has been in these area for the last 14 days please don't attend the museum.

Please also note: Due to the larger numbers of Covid in NSW and protection to staff we have changed our Trading Days and requirements too.

Our Museum will be open by appointment only and for Saturday & Sunday only.
