Gundagai farewells a old bridge
Since its construction this bridge has been used as part of the Hume Highway till the bypass was completed in 1977, over the next 10 or more years since then it had been open for the locals to cross but time and cost took its toll causing it to be closed.
The cost became too much and after many years it was deemed a safety risk and so the authorities decided it had to be removed
